Luke at the pool party and later laughing at the balloon!

Dad and Luke at Kara's wedding, Great Grandma and Luke, mom and Luke laughing, Lukes first cereal

Summer is here

Well lately I have been back to work at both school and Chops. We have a new roommate. Aunt Mommy Molly is living with us during the week and babysitting Luke. She loves it and he does too. (spoiled the entire time) We celebrated a lot these last few weeks...my 1st Mothers Day, Memorial Day and my birthday. At Luke's 4 month check up he was 14lbs 4oz which puts him in the 45% and for his length he is 25 1/2 inches long which puts him in the 75% so little man is doing great. He started eating cereal recently and loves it. It was really messy at first but we are getting better. Our trip to Riley will be August 3rd so we look forward to see what the results are after the challenge he will have to do. Nick has been really busy lately with work and farming. The house has changed quite a bit so if you are able to come on out to visit and check it out.

The First Week

Mandy and I have been home from the hospital now for a week every thing seems to be going great.I think I heard Luke say his first words I think he said Notre Dame football (ha ha). I do have to admit the first two nights were very sleepless but now we have Luke on some what of a schedule and he is sleeping great through the night.
We were concerned how the dog was going to do with bringing a baby home but fortunatly he has been able to adjust perfect to Luke. I am beginning to think he is starting to act as a big brother and watch over him.
